Zach Gullette

May 6, 1990 ~ November 3, 2018 (age 28)

Zachary Gullette, 28, of East Peoria, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Zach was born May 6, 1990 in Peoria to Wendy (Hughes) and Charles Gullette.

He is survived by his parents, Wendy (Mike) Westley of Washington, Charles (Kathryn) Gullette of Bartonville; his sons, Payton and  Kaidence (and their mother Ashlyn Hoyle), and his eldest son Lennon; siblings, Anthony (Amy) Bowman, Andrea Gullette, Abigail, Jenny, and Rob Westley, and Ryant (Shelby) and Cory Lambie; grandparents, Chuck (Nena) Gullette, Donna Wilson, Rebecca Westhafer, and Dave (Linda) Hughes; great-grandpa, James Chianakas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Zach was a member of the Washington Chamber of Commerce and the Peoria Area Association of Realtors, most recently working with WRC Realtors in Washington. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and helping others. He was a devoted member of Bridgeway Community Church in Pekin where his heart for helping others was known by many.  Zach had a God-given talent for music as a very young boy and would “ pretend play” guitar and sing, trying to copy after his dad. He received his first real drum set when was 6 years old and would get in trouble in kindergarten for drumming on everything. This was Zach.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Bridgeway Community Church, 3216 Veterans Rd., Pekin, led by his pastors Dr. Jeff Stark and Linsy Stockham. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Farmdale Cemetery in rural Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeway Community Church, to help them further Christ's mission in our community which aligns with Zach’s heart and his vision to help those in need.
