Thomas Ray McCracken, 11 months, passed away at 8:00am Thursday, February 27, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Surviving are his dad and mom, Ryan and Kari (Heitzman) McCracken of Germantown Hills; his grandparents, Vicki and Bob Heitzman of East Peoria, Robyn McCracken of Peoria, and Mike (Yvonne) McCracken of Indianapolis; great-grandparents, George and Mary Jane Muller; aunts and uncles, Mike and Paige Heitzman & Megan and Jordan Delp; and his cousins, Brooks, Ivy and Grant Heitzman.

Thomas was born in Peoria on March 6, 2019. From that moment on, he was a light to everyone he met; even strangers would often comment on his smiley face and big bright eyes. He was a busy little boy who loved listening to music and being read his favorite books. He loved to play the piano with his mom and grandma Vicki, and he loved Sesame Street, especially Elmo. He was walking on his own, “talking” often, and loved to eat. Thomas smiled with his whole face and lived joyfully; his sweet personality will be missed.
