Wynnona "Wynnie" Phoenix Skeans, 4 days old, of Metamora, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Advocate Christ Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, in her parents' loving arms. She was born May 13, 2021 and was welcomed by her loving parents, Jacob and Heather Skeans; her five siblings, Reese, Izabella, Devin, Harrison, and Nolan; and her grandparents Debra and Charlie Sivley. Wynnie was known and loved by her family as they waited for her to come into the world. They cherished the few days spent with her in their arms as their girl with the bow in her hair. Her brief yet beautiful life will live on in the hearts of those who love her always. A special thanks is owed to her medical family, including all the doctors and medical teams that brought her into this world and fought so hard to keep her in it. A private service will be at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, with Pastor Sarah Wanck officiating.
