Obituary EAST PEORIA-Winifred E. Fredericks, 91, of East Peoria, IL died at 2:25 am Friday, December 23, 2011 at her home. Born on October 30, 1920 in Mason City, IL to Virtus and Gertrude Spencer Parr, she married Walter "Red" Fredericks in 1967 in Mason City. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant daughter, Deborah Bayles, and 2 sisters. Surviving are 1 brother, Dr. Daniel L. (Kitty) Parr of Pekin, IL; 2 step-sons, Gerald (Rose) Fredericks of Mapleton, Michael (Susan) Fredericks of Creve Coeur; 2 step-daughters, Nancy (Mike) Gendron of East Peoria, Jayne (Mike) Kelly of Glasford; 10 step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; 8 nieces and nephews, Cindy (Phil) Gaiser, Gail Thomason, Vernon (Georgeann) DuPage, all of Pekin, Cathleen (Steve) Orr of Sheridan WY, Daniel (Holly) Parr, Stephanie (Gary) Barth, both of Pekin, Trish Parr of Peoria, and Judy (Bill) Johnson of North Pekin. Winifred worked in the office at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 42 years in building DT. She was a member of Mason City Christian Church, a 50 year member of East Peoria Order of Eastern Star Clover Leaf Chapter #1002, and Moose Lodge #673 in Pekin. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Monday, December 26, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Chaplain Chuck Wilcox will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
