Obituary PEKIN- Wilma Josephine Woodward, 87, passed away at 3:09 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on June 30, 1921 in Linton, IN to Alpha and Delpha (Bolinger) Hamilton, she married Chester Elvin Woodward on January 27, 1939 in Linton. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1995. Surviving are one son, Gene (Sherry) Woodward of Pekin; one daughter, Connie Isbell also of Pekin; five grandchildren Kenny Woodward of North Lake Tahoe, CA, Debbie Isbell-Gilliland of Pekin, Tammy Little of Washington, Shane (Terry) Isbell of Washington, and James Heath (Lynn) Isbell of Washington; seven great-grandchildren Anthony, Jacy, Taylor, Bailey, David, Keegan, and Addison; and two brothers Jasper (Norma) Hamilton, and Vernon (Janice) Hamilton both of Jasonville, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and a brother. Wilma was a devout Christian and was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Funeral services for Wilma will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington with visitation held an hour prior. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate. Interment will be at Secor Cemetery in Secor, IL. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials in Wilma's name may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
