Obituary
Wilma "Jean" Trovillion, 73, of Washington, passed away and went home to the Lord at 12:31pm, Monday December 21, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria, after a brief illness.
Jean was born February 17, 1942 near Aurora, MO to the late Rev. Efton E. and Wilma Pauline Carl Elliott. She married Charles F. Trovillion June 30, 1960 in Sunnyland.
Surviving is her husband, Chuck of Washington; their daughters, Kimberly (Bill) Doubet of Washington and Mindy (Eric) Ewalt of Danvers; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, Efton (Betty) Elliott.
Jean was the definition of selfless. Making her house a home for her family gave her great joy as well; her hospitality was second to none and she loved tending her garden. She loved time spent with her husband, daughters, and grandkids, whether it was enjoying dinner or singing around the piano. She served others as a dedicated caretaker, daycare provider, and was a longtime election judge. Most important to her was her faith. She was an active member at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington, where she shared that gift of faith through her devoted involvement in the Children's' Ministry.
Jean's funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm, Monday December 28, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
