Obituary WASHINGTON--Wilma L. Davis, 86, of Washington, died at 11:53 PM, on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was born on October 25, 1922 in Peoria County to Elmer and Lorena McKee Gratton. She married Oakley E. Davis on August 1948 in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1998 in Washington. Surviving are her son, Rennie (Kimberly) Davis of East Peoria IL, stepson, Stanley (Paula) Davis of Cartersville GA; daughter Ann Wilkerson of Benson AZ; grandchildren, Brad, Tanya and Andrew, and her great grandson, Bryce. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 3 brothers. Wilma had worked for Wabco as well as Neil's Cleaners in Sunnyland for 11 years before her retirement. Wilma was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Washington. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor John Rothfusz will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, IL.
