Obituary Washington - William G. Newman, 68, of Washington, died at 9:17 PM on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on May 19, 1944 in Ashland City, TN to Baxter and Maude Allen Newman. He is survived by his partner, Deborah Kirby of Washington, one son; Brian (Dora) Newman of Bellevue, two daughters; Heather Newman of Washington and Tabitha (Randy) Parnam of East Peoria, four grandchildren; Bryce and Mindy Parnam and Kaden and Hunter Newman, and three sisters; Margie (Roy Wayne) Tidwell of Bonaqua, TN, Elizabeth (Wallace) Lovallen of Ashland City, TN and Grace Krantz of Pleasantview, TN. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenny. William worked in construction for thirty years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Laborers International Union Local 165 in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Tennessee. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling all arrangements.
