Obituary West Peoria - William K. "Bill" McNary, 68, of West Peoria, died at 8:45 AM on Friday July 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 3, 1945 in Peoria to Melvin and Mildred Slater McNary. He married Linda Hubert on June 1, 1968 in Peoria. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa "Missy" (Jim) Graf of Algonquin, IL and three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Carter and Makayla. Bill is also survived by his fianc' of twenty years, Barbara Burns of West Peoria. Bill was proud to have served his country in the United States Army Black Beret during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in South Korea. He later worked as a machinist at Caterpillar for forty years. He was a true outdoorsman. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements. He was an active board member of Fort Creve Coeur where memorial contributions may be made in his name.
