Obituary William Robert 'Bob' Kerr, 83, of Lisle, formerly of Washington, passed away at 2:02pm, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Bob was born October 8, 1930 in Galena to William B. and Helen L. Menzemer Kerr. He married Betha 'Bert' Kasowski on December 22, 1952 in Rockford; she preceded him in death in 2011. Surviving are their children, William John (Christine) Kerr of Kentwood, MI and David B. (Janice) Kerr of Naperville; and 4 grandchildren, Jim Kerr, Sarah Kerr, Dan Kerr, and Stephanie Kerr. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 6, 2014 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington. Visitation will be two hours prior at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Washington, where military rites will be conferred to honor Bob's US Navy service.
