Obituary WASHINGTON-William E. Hill, 75, of Washington, Illinois, died at 6:40 am Friday, December 9, 2011 at his home. Born on November 30, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois to William P. and Leta M. Frahm Hill, he married Carolyn A. Piehl on October 18, 1958 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on June 2, 2009 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Janet Threet and Bonnie Sue Hill. Surviving are 2 sons, William A. Hill of Washington and Larry (Kim McGraw) Hill of Goodfield; 1 sister, Carol Joy Fennell of Edgewater, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin, Brian, Patrick, Danielle, and Matt, and 3 great-grandchildren. William was a truck driver for Risinger Brothers Transportation in Morton for 20 years and also worked for Hiram Walker for 26 years. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, December 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
