William "Bill" Brogan, 78, of Washington, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

He was born in Peoria, IL on January 26, 1946 to Edward and Helen (Leach) Brogan.  He married Mara Rudovskis in Peoria on November 2, 1968.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Renee Burnett and Stefanie (Nick) McCumber; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Alexandra, Jenna, Natalija, Gregory, and Ian; one great-granddaughter, Minerva; four siblings, Sandy, Karen, Gary, and Sheri; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edward.

Bill worked in sales most of his life, retiring from Merchant Metals.  He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

Cremation has been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
