Obituary East Peoria- Charles "Wayne" Moss, 44 of East Peoria, passed away following a short illness on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Wayne was born on February 14, 1968 in Belleville, KS to Charles E. Moss and the late Geneieve Weaver Moss. Surviving are Wayne's fiance, Stacy Hall of East Peoria, 6 children, Brenna, Griffin and Jaden Hall and Quaid, Paxton and Jovie Moss; his father and step-mother, Charles E. (Maggie) Moss of Mackinaw, IL, 4 sisters, Debra (Jack) Cruser of Bloomington,IL, Barbara (Mark) Stilwell of Albuquerque, NM, Nona (Richard) Nieman of Allen, TX and Dede Hoffman of Metamora, IL, Wayne was predeceased by his mother Geneieve Moss in August of 1983. Wayne was a Service Advisor and Manager for several car dealerships in the area. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Honoring Wayne's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of his life will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor Tom Goodell will officiate with inurnment to follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne Moss Memorial Fund c/o Morton Community Bank.
