Obituary Wanda Majors, 58, of 119 Putman East Peoria passed away at 5:19 pm January 25th at her residence. Born March 11, 1949 in Florence, Alabama to James and Edith English Owens. She married Jack Majors on January 13, 1968 in East Peoria at the Little Church in the Valley. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1990. Surviving is her Mother Edith Owens of Clifton, TN.; son Dan Majors of East Peoria, daughter Karen Majors (Ralph Sedgwick) of Canton, two brothers; Larry Owens of Canton and Keith (Stephanie) Walker of Parsons, TN.; two grandchildren; Tony Mendoza and Trinity Majors, and two step grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the Richland Baptist Church in East Peoria. Services will be 11 am Tuesday, January 29th at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. Gary England will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, January 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria.
