Obituary
V. Vivian Crotts, 75, of Washington died at 2:54 PM on Monday May 10, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born June 4, 1934 to Vera and Surl Johnston in Bakersfield, MO, she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Fred Johnston.
She married Edward Crotts on October 11, 1950 in Viola, AR. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2006 in Washington.
Surviving are 4 children, Keith of Rushville, Dale (Laura), Gary and Julie (Craig) Rogers, all of Washington; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Guy (Betty) and Freddy (Tina) Johnston, and Bonnie Cunningham, all of Bakersfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Peggy.
She worked in the print industry for many years at International Paper and later retired from WebKote.
She was a faithful member of her church, Faith Christian Centre. She spent countless hours praying for the needs of her family, friends, and church. She loved to read, listen to the radio, and do crossword puzzles. Both she and her husband dedicated their lives to their family and helping those in need. She had a special spunk that added joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
