Obituary EAST PEORIA - Tommie H. Hagan, 89, of East Peoria, IL died at 3:57 pm Sunday, July 17, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Born on May 21, 1922 in Bowling Green, KY to Malissa Patterson, he married Colleen R. Spence on March 8, 1947 in Creve Coeur, IL. After 62 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on September 20, 2009. Tommie is survived by his son, Tommie L. (Alison) Hagan of Washington, IL, and his daughter, Pamela S. Hagan of Tampico, IL; 2 grandsons, Tommie C. (Laura) Hagan of Peoria, IL and Terry A. Hagan of Carol Stream, IL. He was preceded in death by his half-sister, Doris Smith. Tommie was a US Army veteran serving during World War II in North Africa, Italy, and Central Europe. He worked for Keystone Steel & Wire for 40 years, retiring in 1982. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
