Timothy E. Skaggs, 59, of Washington, passed away at 2:06 pm Monday, December 10, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born February 5, 1959 in Peoria to Everett Ray and Joyce Hamblin Skaggs. He married Lori A. Lane in Peoria on June 13, 1987. She survives. Also surviving is his mother, Joyce; daughter, Kayleigh (Josh) Wright; son, Austin (girlfriend, Julie) Skaggs; and his brother, Allan. He was preceded in death by his father. Tim worked at Mitsubishi for 28 years, retiring in 2015. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, street rods, and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Friday, December 14th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am Saturday, December 15th at the funeral home with John and Vicki Schmidgall officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VFW AMVETS, or Alzheimers Association.
