Obituary Washington - Timothy Richard Ray, 38, of Washington died at 1:35 PM on Sunday June 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 5, 1975 in Peoria to Terry and Karen Bratcher Ray. They survive. He is also survived by his daughter Taylor Ray of Washington, his sister Christina Park of Louisville, his maternal grandmother Elo Bratcher of Louisville and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather. Tim has been employed at Caterpillar in East Peoria since 2005. He was a machine operator in building HH. Tim was an avid Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed fishing. He was a loyal friend who made people laugh and a person that others loved to be around. He was a member of Christian Assembly Church in Peoria where there will be a funeral service at 11 AM on Tuesday July 1, 2014. Pastor Terry Goode will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday June 30, 2014 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington and one half hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and inurnment will take place Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 10 AM in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
