Timothy J. Gee, 60, of Washington, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2024 peacefully at his home with his family by his side.

He was born May 8, 1963 in Peoria to the late James E. and Gloria V. Amdahl Gee.  He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark A. Lee.

Surviving are his sister, Kim Lee; brother, Jim L. Gee; ex wife and best friend, Chenny Gee; two nephews, Dana Lee and Tyler Gee; two great-nephews, Hunter Lee and Everett Gee; and two daughters, Danielle Gee and Margaret Gee Johns.

Timothy graduated from Washington Community High School and received his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University.  He worked at Caterpillar Inc. with a career of over 40 years.

He would buy cars and fix them up and sell them.  As a kid he would buy snow mobiles from Minnesota when he went to see his grandma and grandpa.  He also enjoyed deer hunting and traveling to Alaska, Peru, and the Philippines.  He will be dearly missed.

Private services will be held.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
