Obituary WASHINGTON--Thomas W. Gore, 87, of Washington, died at 2:18 PM, on Monday, December 31, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on May 3, 1920 in Springfield, Missouri to Thomas Martin and Nettie Schyart. He married Juanita Truelove; she preceded him in death. Surviving are 2 sons, Ricky (Sheila) Gore of Washington, IL, and Michael Gore of Cape Coral, FL; 3 daughters, Janey (Ronnie) Beetschen of Morton, IL, Karen (William) Irvin of Mapleton, IL, Donita (Charles) Wood of Pekin, IL; step-daughter, Sherry Zehr of Grand Rapids, MI; 2 step-sons, Jerry (Mary Ann) Broadfield of Princeville, IL, and Larry (Shirley) Broadfield of Washington, IL; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 13 brothers and sisters. Thomas was a Brick Mason for Caterpillar, Inc., where he worked for 30 years. Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing.
