Obituary Morton- Thomas E. Forgason, 84 of Morton, passed away at 4:17 PM on Friday, March 15, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Tom was born on September 7, 1928 in Morley, MO to the late Harry and Callie Gebbs Forgason. He married Imogene L. Howard on July 12, 1974 in Washington, IL. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Angela Spirling of Peoria, a step-son, Allan (Leann) Boswell of East Peoria and a grandson, Kenneth Cody Sperling of Peoria. Tom was preceded in death by two brothers, H.B. Forgason and Bob Forgason and a sister, Christine Jefford. Tom was an Inspector for Caterpillar Tractor Company. He was a member of AMVETS in Peoria and also enjoyed fishing and doing yard work. Honoring Tom's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Roberts Cemetery in Morton. Rev. Rebecca Weltmann will officiate. Military Rites will be rendered by the US Army and Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
