Obituary Washington- Thomas B. Casey, 95, of Washington, passed away January 22, 1011 in LaSalle, IL. He was born in Peoria, IL on August 3, 1915. He married Gail Lee Combs in 1965. She preceded him in death March 7, 2009 in Sarasota, FL. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Carolyne Keebler Teufel, father and a sister, Elizabeth Reynolds. Surviving are 1 nephew, Jerry Reynolds; 2 nieces, Carolyn Nelson and Roberta Llewellyn, all of CA; a brother-in-law, Anthony Combs of FL and a sister-in-law, Roxanne Myers of Peoria. Tom joined the Army Air Force in 1942 serving during WWII. He was a graduate of Bradley University and the University of Illinois. He served as vice-president and creative director with the advertising firm Hall, Haerr, Peterson and Harney, Inc. of Peoria, retiring in 1984. Tom spent 44 years with his loving wife Gail, living a full life in Washington, IL enjoying his many friends with his unique sense of humor. He enjoyed the Arts, writing, photography, traveling, and wintering in Sarasota, FL. He also enjoyed caring for their many dogs over the years.
