Theresa L. "Terry" Hendrickson, 72, of Peoria, passed away at 2:53am Saturday, September 11, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Terry was born July 5, 1949 in Peoria to Gene and Betty Scudder Copp. She married Dave Krueger in 1969; then in 1985, she married James Hendrickson. He preceded her in death in 2020. Surviving are her mother, Betty; daughter, Michelle Krueger; step-children, Jim (Leann) Hendrickson, Scott (Becky) Hendrickson, Laura Stevens, and Sue (Dan) Hoffman; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her father, one brother, and one sister also preceded her in death. Terry graduated from Washington Community High School and most recently worked at Schnucks in Peoria. She loved to shop and work in her yard, tending to her flowers. She was always on the go and like adding to her owl collection and taking care of her pets. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5-7:00pm at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Illinois CancerCare Foundation.
