Obituary Theodore "Teddy" Steven Brittain, 55, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:30AM in Canton, IL. Teddy was born March 23, 1959 in Peoria to Theodore Winthol and Norma Jean Petros Brittain. He is survived by his two daughters, Carmen Brittain of Abilene, TX and Jessica Brittain (Johnny Williams) of Peoria; two grandchildren, Theodore and Olivia Brittain; one sister, Vicki (Fred) Faubel of West Peoria; two nieces, Martina and Yolanda; one nephew, Herney; two great nieces, Demetra and Destinee and one great nephew, Tanner. Teddy was preceded in death by his father. He was a graduate of Washington Community High School. He also served in the United States Army. Teddy had a huge heart and will be missed by many friends and loved ones. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to an education fund for his grandchildren.
