Terry Ralph Tandy, 78, of Washington, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Accolade Healthcare in Peoria. Terry was born on September 6, 1947, in Beardstown, IL; the son of the late Raymond Philmore and Doris Jeanette (Stock) Tandy. Terry married Connie Osborne on July 11, 1969, in Peoria; they shared nearly 55 years together until she preceded him in death on September 3, 2024. He proudly served our country in the Army during Vietnam; after his time in the service Terry worked as a sprinkler pipefitter for many years. Outside of work Terry was an avid fisherman and loved to tinker in his garage, he was able to fix anything that was put in front of him. Most of all though Terry loved to spend time with his daughters and all his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his daughters Angela Tandy and Tonya (Karl) Ensor both of East Peoria, his grandchildren: Justin Ensor of East Peoria, Jadie Ensor of Ocala, FL, and Payton Nolen of East Peoria, his great-grandchildren Lilian Ensor of Pekin and Sophia Dean of Ocala, FL. His siblings Tony (Peggy) Tandy of Sayre, OK, Joy Jennings of Pekin, his sister-in-law Debbie King of Peoria, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents and his wife Terry was preceded in death by his sisters Janet Gentry and Patty Martin.

To honor Terry's wishes cremation rites will be accorded by Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A private family service will be held at a later date.
