Obituary Washington-Terry Lee Secretan, 64, of Washington died at 6:14 PM Friday July 29, 2011 at OSF Medical Center in Peoria. He was born December 24, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Estrell Speck Secretan. He married Rebecca Stotler September 27, 2002 in Eureka, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his son Michael (Amy) Secretan of Normal, IL, his daughter Lisa (Spencer)Robertson of Pekin, IL and his mother Estrell Secretan of Washington. He was preceded in death by his sister Debra Young and his father. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in East Peoria after 30 years of service as an assemblyman. Terry was a member of Bayview Baptist Church in Washington. The most fulfilling part of Terry's life was telling people about his faith in Jesus Christ. He also loved NASCAR and collecting and restoring old muscle cars. A funeral service will be held for Terry at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 2, 2011 at Bayview Baptist Church. Pastor Keith Thibo will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 Tuesday morning at the church. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bayview Baptist Church Mission Fund.
