Obituary Terry G. Carrington, 67, of East Peoria, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away at 6:24 pm Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born Dec. 25, 1948 in Peoria to Clyde and Marie Light Carrington. They both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael, and 3 brothers, Larry, Dennis and Roy. Survivors include his former wife, Jane; son, Bradley (Elizabeth); 3 daughters, Lisa (Cliff) Ferro-Burger, Penny (Paul) Smith, Tina (Jim) Peterson; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Carp and brother, Gilbert. Terry was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 pm Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. There will be no service, cremation rites will be accorded.
