Obituary Washington - Stanley K. Patterson, 77 of Washington, died at 9:16 AM on Thursday October 31, 2013 at Manor Care at Riverview in East Peoria. He was born on November 27, 1935 in Beardstown, IL to Eric and Myrtle Josephine Rutledge Patterson. He married M. Yvonne Stock on August 16, 1957 in Beardstown, IL. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2006. Also preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers and two sisters. Stanley is survived by two daughters; Tamara Kay Patterson of Peoria and Deborah (Lee) Langeberg of Tremont, three grandchildren; Ryan Wright of Las Vegas, Lelainia (Dave) Hosbrough of Creve Coeur and Brandy Kidd of East Peoria, three great-grandchildren; Zed, Krista and Sophie as well as his very special mother-in-law Marion Stock of Arenzville, IL and eight brother-in-laws and their spouses. Stanley worked 32 years for Caterpillar, INC in East Peoria, retiring in 1997. He last worked as a processor in building KK Transmission Business Unit. He enjoyed bowling, roller skating and was a Chicago Bears fan. He also loved the outdoors. There will be a visitation for Stanley on Sunday November 3, 2013 from 2-4 PM at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. There will be a private inurnment at a later date in Beardstown City Cemetery.
