Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Stanley M. Dhaese, 47, of East Peoria passed away at 12:25 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born January 23, 1961 in Peoria, IL to Arthur Dhaese, Sr. and Patricia (Alwan) Dhaese. Stan married Laura Gordley on September 10, 1983 in Mackinaw, IL. Laura survives along with their son Matthew. Also surviving are 4 brothers Vernon Dhaese of Delavan, IL, Earnest "Bud" (Delores) Dhaese of East Peoria, James Dhaese of Florida, and Arthur Dhaese, Jr. of Benton, IL; 2 sisters, Mourina (Harry) Sweet of Bartonville and Laureen (Gary) Johnson of Peoria. In addition, he is survived by Barb "Mom" Gordley of East Peoria, sister-in-law, Chris Vielhak of Mackinaw, brother-in-law Mike (Johanna) Gordley of Hawaii, Ray "Dad" Gordley of Mackinaw, and several nieces and nephews. Stan was preceded in death by his parents. Stan was last employed by ICCI Concrete Construction where he was Labor Foreman, and was a member of the Laborers Local 165, last working in October 2007. Stan was a most loving husband and father, treasured brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was an avid woodworker, craftsman, Chicago Bears fan, and Jack Daniels collector. Stan was very involved in helping develop the East Peoria subdivision where he lived. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 29 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. Pastor Bob Martin will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, March 28 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Herstein Cemetery in Morton, IL.
