Obituary WASHINGTON - Sidney Michael Howley, 71, of Washington, died at 9:15 pm Sunday, April 13, 2008 at his home. Born on June 21, 1936 in Des Moines, IA to Joseph and Frances Louise Clyde Howley, he married Roseann Lorentzen on June 4, 1960 in Davenport, IA. She survies. Also surviving are 1 daughter, Christina (Stuart) Lewellen, 2 sons, Ian (Beth) Howley and Michael Howley, and 4 grandchildren, Megan Lewellen, Miles Howley, Tess Howley, and Grace Howley, all of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Sidney was a Pharmacist, retiring from OSF St. Mary's Hospital in Galesburg. He was a graduate of Drake University. He was a member of Washington Christian Church and also the OSF Retirees. Services will be at 6 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Rev. Jeff Browning will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Graveside inurnment will be at 3:30 pm Friday, April 18, 2008 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
