Obituary EAST PEORIA - Shirley "Loretta" Stevens, 71, of East Peoria, IL died at 9:10 pm Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born on February 23, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Elden Ward and Ethel Marie Isaac Dalton, she married Donald G. Stevens on September 15, 1969 in Galesburg, IL. He survives. Also surviving is 1 daughter, Tammy Sue Stevens of East Peoria, 2 brothers, Stanley (Nancy) Dalton of Peoria and Louie (Lana) Dalton of Morton and her grandcat, "Button". She was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, August 30, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Louie Dalton, her brother, will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
