Obituary Shirley Ann DePauw, 70, of Washington, IL, died at 9:45 am Monday, April 22, 2013 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. Born on December 1, 1942 in Elizabethtown, IL to John and Cleminstine Page Davis, she married John Spencer DePauw on March 6, 1964 in Normal, IL. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2009 in Washington, IL. Surviving are 1 son, Jason (Vickie) DePauw of Normal, IL, 2 grandsons, Justin and Thomas, 2 sisters, Audrey (Dave) Moore and Edna Holbrook, both of Albuquerque, NM and 2 brothers, Charles (Charmaine) Davis of Bosier City, LA and John (Lisa) Davis of Clarksville, TN. Shirley was a 6th grade teacher at District #50 in Washington for 30 years. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and the Bridge Club of Central Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
