Obituary - Shirley Carol Cloud, 76, of Washington, IL, died at 5:00 pm Friday, September 24, 2010 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. Born on September 14, 1934 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Dorothy Dimmick Hughey, she married Conrad Cloud in 1961 in Peoria. He preceded her in death. She is survived by several dear friends, a brother-in-law, Robert Hartline of Anna, IL, and a nephew, Timothy Shoff of Washington, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Helen Hartline. Shirley worked in a Convenient Store in Oxford, MS for many years, moving back to Washington in 1997. She also was a member of the Golden Agers Club at Leisure Acres. Shirley was also active with her friends from the Woodruff High School Class of 1953, enjoyed painting and making her own greeting cards, and was an avid bowler and animal lover. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Rev. Dr. Philip Icenogle will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
