Shirley J. Boudreau, 89, of East Peoria, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Healthcare in East Peoria.

She was born February 25, 1935 in Peoria to the late Otto and Helen Weinstein Roecker. She married Abijah Sherwood; they later divorced. She then married Ivan Boudreau, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Surviving are 3 sons, Marc (Elizabeth) Sherwood of Boulder City, NV, Jeff (Candy) Sherwood of Derby, KS, and Alan (Annette) Sherwood of East Peoria and 1 daughter, Lisa Drake; ten grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her sister.

Shirley graduated from Bradley University and Midstate College. She last worked as a secretary for the Peoria Chapter of the Red Cross. She attended First United Methodist Church in Peoria and was an avid quilter.

Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Peoria German-American Central Society.
