Obituary Sherry L. Dalton, 57, of East Peoria,IL died at 3:30am Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home. Sherry was born on April 17, 1956 in Peoria to Charlie and Opal Stanfield Caldwell. She married Steve Dalton November 29, 1985 in Peoria; he survives. Also surviving are her four children, Daniel Warner of Rome, Jennifer (Brian) Brown of Morton, Crystal (Brandon) Gore and Steven G. Dalton, both of East Peoria ; eight grandchildren, Zachary Benefield, Jonathan Warner, Sarah Warner, Mikayla Benefield, Brian Brown II, Bristen Garant, Kailinn Gore, and Brady Gore; and a brother, Chuck (Sandy) Caldwell of Gilmer, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sherry enjoyed life and tended bar at many local places. She loved to sing and boat, and was an excellent video poker and pool player. She also liked to participate in the Central Illinois Cruisers with her husband, and show their restored Camaros. Sherry dearly loved her dogs; Sqiggles and Daisy. A funeral service for Sherry will be held at 10:00am Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chillicothe City Cemetery in Chillicothe.
