Sherri L. Anders, 67, of Peoria, passed away at 6:28pm Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at her home.

She was born on January 16, 1956, in Knoxville, TN, to Donald Gordon and Delores Oakley Paris.

She is survived by her former husband, James G. Anders, and their children, Jason (Laura) Anders of Sussex, WI, and Jeremiah (Stephanie) Anders of Morton, IL and seven grandchildren: Drew, Braden, Addison, Alexa, Norah, Jonathan and Joseph Anders.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Barry Paris; one granddaughter, Savannah Anders; and her former husband, Michael Schubach .

Sherri worked as a registered nurse for many years and especially enjoyed her time as a pediatric nurse.

Sherri enjoyed reading, the home shopping network and her beloved dog Abby. She loved her family and missed her parents greatly since their passing.

Services for Sherri will be at 2:00pm on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Fr. Gerald Ward will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Easter Seals Foundation-Donald G. Paris Endowed Fund.
