Sharon Kay Ross, 80, of Washington, IL died at 12:30 am Thursday, May 15, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Born on August 26, 1944 in Peoria, IL, to Herman and Evelyn Lelm Lines, she married Terrence L. Ross on April 8, 1967 in Lacon, IL.  He survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters, Kimberly (Danny) McFarlen of Metamora, IL and Lori Ross of Crown Point, IN, 1 sister, Sue (Lee) Mercer of Baytown, TX and 3 grandchildren, Jackson Bieszczak, Jameson Bieszczak, and Julianna Bieszczak.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Lines.

Sharon had a strong faith, was raised Lutheran, but considered herself a Baptist. She also was an avid cat lover, contributing to many animal shelter charities over the years.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and there will be no services.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting her family with arrangements.
