Sandy Binkley, 82, of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL.

Sandy was born on July 28, 1942 to Arthur and Virginia (Myers) Hatfield in Peoria, IL. She married Dick Wennmacher on February 20, 1960 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2022. She married Jimmy Binkley on November 26, 1979 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Companion, Joey Marsh) Wennmacher, Darren (Kim) Wennmacher, Dianne (Ty) Harbourn, and DaVonne (Brett) Pierce; her grandchildren, Mike, Krista, Jamie, Jessica, Laura, Nick, and Gracie; 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Barb Vecchio; and her beloved cat, Pumpkin.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ricky Wennmacher; and her brothers, Mark Whistle and Art Hatfield.

Sandy was an avid reader and loved crocheting in her spare time. Some of her favorite memories were made while spending time with her best friend, Jean. She also enjoyed going on long drives. Sandy was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude in memory of Sandy.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. Sandy's final resting place will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL.
