Obituary Peoria - Sandra A. Sullivan, 74, of Peoria died at 6:25 AM on Thursday April 3, 2014 at her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family and her faithful canine companion Alfie by her side. She was born October 17, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to David and Ferne Engelka Campbell. She married Roger Sullivan September 2, 1961 in Fairview, IL. They spent 52 wonderful years together. He was the love of her life; he survives. Also surviving are her two children, Michael Sullivan of Peoria and Suzanne (Lon) Atterberry of Washburn, one sister, Betsie Pavilonis of Auburn, Washington, one grandson, Roger K. Sullivan and four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Leah, Logan, and Brody. She was preceded in death by her parents. In the early 1960's Sandra was employed by Carson Pirie Scott as a Fashion Illustrator in the art advertising department. She loved to paint and was an avid oil and water color artist. She was a member of Glen Oak Christian Church in Peoria. There will be no service. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements. Inurnment will be at a later date in her hometown of Sommerset, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Methodist Hospice. The family would like to thank Methodist Hospice for their great care and concern they were shown during Sandra's illness. Cemetery Details There will be no services.
