Sam Fleming, 89, of Washington, passed away at 11:00a, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Washington Christian Village. He was born December 28, 1928 to James and Marie Fleming. He married Pauline Foster; she preceded him in death in 1986. He is survived by his daughter Lynn (Scot) Poland of Washington; and four grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Sydney, and Kelsey. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James and William. Sam worked for Caterpillar for 45 years, retiring in 1994, and was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Washington.
