Obituary Ross "Rocky" M. Daniels, of Salem, formerly of Washington passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon, IL. Rocky was born January 20, 1932 in Pontiac, MI to James and Evelynn Daniels. He married Mildred A. Mandeville in Detroit, MI. They later divorced. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Patricia B. Morris of Salem, IL and Russell V. (Evelyn) Daniels of Forreston, IL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Rocky worked as a terminal manager with Amoco Oil Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Morton Lodge No. 352 since 1958. He was also a perpetual member of Hilton Lodge No. 1143 in East Peoria and of the Tremont Lodge No. 462. He held a life membership with the American Legion for 52 years at Post No. 0318 in Morton. Last but not least, he was a life member with the Veterans of Foreign Wars with the Jefferson, City, MO V.F.W. Post No. 1003. There will be no services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
