Ronda Gardner, 52, of Washington, formerly of Fulton, IL and Clinton, IA, passed away at 2:12am Saturday, June 8, 2024 at IU Healthcare-University Hospital after a battle with cancer.

She is survived by her parents, Ron and Connie Adkison of Creve Coeur; her children, Peyton Gibson (Angela) of Fulton, Gabrielle Gardner of Davenport, and Bryanna Gardner of Washington; her beloved grandkids, Jeremyah, LilyAnna, Malia, Derek, and Vanessa; her brother, Jason Adkison of Creve Coeur; nephew, Aaron Adkison,and her significant other, Darren Weir of Washington.

Ronda was born July 8, 1971 in Peoria, and grew up in Washington, graduating from WCHS in 1989. After returning to Washington in 2014, she worked at Miss Vickie's South in Morton and the Mobil station in Washington.

Ronda loved her friends and family with her whole heart. Hosting them at the home she loved, realxing around the pool, or just spending time together is what she loved best. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mom, and Mimi. Ronda had a big heart and impacted so many people in her lifetime. Her legacy will be her open arms and welcoming heart.

A time to celebrate her life and honor her memory will be from 3-5:00pm Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family.
