Obituary PEORIAa"Roger A Wells, Sr., 49, of Peoria, died at 7:26 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born on April 23, 1960 in Peoria to Shirley and Liza Hillis Wells, he married Crystal Ann LiGrisse on October 15, 1982 in Pekin, IL. She survives Also surviving are his daughter, Cortni Wells of Peoria; 2 sons, Roger A. Wells, Jr. of Creve Coeur and Michael Wells of East Peoria; 1 brother, Kelly Marlowe of TN; 5 grandchildren, and also a daughter, Patricia Delay of Elgin, IL. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandson Ashton. Roger worked as a crane inspector in Peoria for P&H Cranes of Wisconsin. He raced cross country motorcycles for 7 years. Roger enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and especially loved spending time with his family. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. Jack Beaird will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, July 2 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
