Rodney Dale Smithee, 50, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his home.

He was born on March 18, 1975 to Regina L. Kelley and Tony H. Smithee in Peoria, IL.

He is survived by 7 children; his sister, Amy (Nick) Couch; his father, Tony Smithee; and his dog, Brutus Barbarian.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 2019.

Rodney's fondest memories were made with his dog, Brutus. He will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pathway Ministries in Peoria, IL.

Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.
