Robert F. 'Bob' Schwiderski, 75, of Washington, IL passed away at 7:38 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria, IL. He was born May 15, 1942 in Streator, IL to Edwin and Marguerite Cresto Schwiderski. They preceded him in death. He married Beatrice 'Bea' Nutkins in DePere, WI on April 3, 1971. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Brian R. (Amy) Schwiderski of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Benjamin E. (Erika) Schwiderski of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Robert J. Cross-Schwiderski, Nala Jean Schwiderski; and two brothers, Kenneth Schwiderski and John B. (Marijana) Schwiderski. Bob owned a car dealership in Wisconsin before retiring and was a car man from the time he was 5. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria, IL. His passion was riding motorcycles and restoring vintage bikes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many great friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Red Cross. A funeral service for Bob will be held at 3 pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, IL with Fr. Martin Mwongyera officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded with inurnment to be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL at a later date.
