Obituary WASHINGTON- Robert "Bob" G. Schubert, 58, of Washington, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at 12:23PM at his residence. Bob was born March 7, 1956 to Robert F. and Margret A. Eldred Schubert in Hutchison, KS. He married Dianna Burress in Tazewell County on August 8, 1997. She survives. Also surviving is his son, Robert F. Schubert II of Washington; two step-sons, Patrick Jones of Peoria and Christopher Jones (Katlyn Melton) of Washburn; one grandson, Nolan; two sisters, Lenna Marie (Bob) Bircher of Phoenix, AZ and Birdie Tomaszewski of Walterboro, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, John P. Tomaszewski. Bob was a graduate 1974 graduate of Rock Island High School. He was employed with Behr Metal and Iron. Bob was an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to an education fund for his son, Robert. .
