Obituary Robert J. "Bob" Riley, 75, of East Peoria passed away peacefully at 8:59 am Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Morton Villa Care Center where he has been a resident for the past eleven years. Robert was born December 14, 1940 in Roodhouse, a son of Lea and Dorothy (Covey) Riley. He married Angela Connell on May 14, 1960 in Delavan. Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years; one son, Greg (Angie) Riley of Morton and one daughter, Dawn (Dave) Klintworth of Chatham; four grandchildren, Alex (his fianc, Megan), Abby and Maddie Klintworth and Jon Riley; one brother, Earl (Carolyn) Riley of Sunnyland; two sisters, Wanda Markham of North Pekin and Kathy (Darrell) Rearden of Morton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Alice Foltz; one brother, Larry Riley; and two brother-in-laws, Dan Markham and Don Foltz. Bob pursued his passion for cars at Greer Technical School in Chicago, specializing in autobody repair. After 18 years of work at Hiram Walker and Central Autobody, he eventually opened his own family businesses, Economy Autobody, Inc. in 1983 and R&R Autoworks in 1989. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Morton Villa Care Center for the dedicated care, friendships and concern for his well being. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria with further visitation 30 minutes prior to Mass Saturday at the Church.
