Obituary WASHINGTON - Robert C. Heinzmann, 73, of Chillicothe, IL and formerly of Washington, IL, died at 10:15 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his daughter's home in Washington. He was born on July 5, 1937 in Peoria, IL to Francis and Alice Roser Heinzmann. Surviving are 5 children; Bob (Rosie) Heinzmann and Pat (Rich) Brown, both of Washington, IL, Steve (Julie) Heinzmann of Moline, IL, and Greg (Angie) Heinzmann and Teresa (Kevin) Schone both of Washington, IL, his fiance, Esther Merdian of Chillicothe, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Bob worked as a boilermaker at Hiram Walker's until his retirement in 1981. He later worked at Multi-Ad and Peoria Tent & Awning. He was a master of many hobbies, including gardening, carpentry, auto mechanics, and fishing, and was known as an all-around craftsman. Bob was of the Catholic faith. Private family graveside services will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
