Robert "Bob" Bouris, 92, of Peoria, passed away at 4:33pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Washington Senior Living. He was born July 15, 1929 in Pekin to the late Gus and Mary Brosh Bouris. He is survived by his children, Randy Bouris of Bradenton, FL, Dick (Kathy) Bouris of Washington, Kay (Don) Westemeyer and Keli (Greg) Maloney, both of Pekin; his companion of 18 years, Irene Cullen and her daughter, Dory (Jack) Garrison; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Mike and Brian Bouris. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and went on to become a plumber, working for several area businesses. He loved watching the Bears, Bulls, and Cubs play. He also enjoyed listening to and dancing to the crooners. Cremation rites have been accorded by Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
