Robbie Whelan, 21, of Washington, passed away at 8:20pm Thursday, October 10, 2019 at his home. He was born December 16, 1997 in Peoria to Robert and Tiffany Buhs Whelan. Surviving are his parents, Tiffany and Rob of East Peoria; siblings, Kelsey and Logan; three grandparents, one great-grandmother, two aunts, two uncles, and nine cousins. He was preceded in death by one grandfather and two great-grandparents. Robbie graduated from East Peoria Community High School in 2016. He went on to work for Fondulac Township and recently began working as a postal worker in Metamora. He loved to work on projects around the house and cars, especially his beloved Subie. He loved driving his car and hanging out with friends and family. His big heart will be missed by many. Family will receive guests from 5-7:00pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
